The analyses shown are based exclusively on VSME reports that have passed a plausibility check carried out by DNK expert reviewers – regardless of whether the reports were subsequently published on the DNK website.  All results are displayed solely in aggregated form, and no conclusions can be drawn about individual companies or reports. The DNK Platform is also used by companies from other EU countries, which are included in the overall figures. However, the detailed analyses by sector, federal state, company size and reporting year focus on companies based in Germany. The aim of the DNK dashboard is to provide transparency on voluntary sustainability reporting under the VSME standard among German SMEs. For the purposes of the dashboard, “companies” include all organisations that have submitted a VSME report on the DNK Platform – including private-sector companies as well as associations, NGOs, local authorities and public institutions.
